We have lots of great feed back from our customers - you can read a few here ....

Came here a few weeks back for my dad's birthday. Was brilliant to see a village pub/bistro packed out with both drinkers and diners and it's clearly visible why. Fantastic food/atmosphere and surroundings. Would fully recommend to anyone. Was refreshing to have fantastic service on the table from the girls waiting that night, very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you.

"Outstanding food, outstanding service, outstanding atmosphere, great value for money, it was our first time here and most definitely won't be our last. Can't recommend it highly enough, I would have given it 6 stars if I could!"

It’s quite refreshing to walk into somewhere and find out that it is simply a quality village pub. Most village pubs, that haven’t already closed, look like they are either clinging on until the bank recalls the loan or have undergone a fake Cotswold makeover which means that they are forced to make promises that they can’t never deliver on. This place is neither; it’s just a good pub.

The bar and dining areas are both places you would want to spend some time, there is a great range of drinks (including numerous beers for the beardists) and the team running the place are friendly and efficient.

There is no sign of pretentious ingredients or ridiculously over ambitious cooking methods. Equally, there are none of the ‘classic’ dishes that pubs have been ruining for years. Instead there is a small but adequate selection of great pub food that most people are unlikely to ever cook well at home. A steak pie was excellent, liver and bacon truly wonderful and the sea bass was delicious.

All the food is very well cooked, perfectly timed, served without fuss and represents great value for money. Service is just right; friendly and efficient without being obtrusive.
