The Rose & Crown is a Traditional Pub in the Picturesque Village of Yardley Hastings. It is a family run pub, owned and managed by Claire & Kelvin Leaton. We hope to capture all the qualities of what a Classic English Country Pub should be.
Whether you are enjoying a drink or two, a casual meal with friends or family, or celebrating an occasion, we look forward to welcoming you.
All walk-ins are welcome but we would highly recommend booking to avoid any disappointment. We welcome all well behaved dogs, with complimentary dog biscuits available. We have specific areas if you wish to dine with your furry friend, so please request a ‘Dog friendly table’ on booking.
The building is very old, so disabled access is unfortunately limited. Please do contact us beforehand to discuss if we can help meet your requirements

What Our Customers Say
We had an excellent lunch on Good Friday. The home made Steak and Ale pie and Chicken and Ham pie were delicious. The vegetables were al dente and very tasty. The Rhubarb and Stem Ginger Cheese cake was to die for. Staff were welcoming and attentive and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely go there again. It is advisable to book at weekends and during busy times of the year.
Called in for lunch after a walk. Very busy but friendly. Told us about a 15 minute wait which was fine. Excellent 'Rose & Crown' bitter. We both had the moules et frites. The sauce was the best I have ever had. Chef is finalist in 'Chef of the year'. Strongly recommend.
Had a really lovely meal. Can't fault it at all. Had the mushroom starter followed by venison haunch which came with a variety of well cooked vegetables. My husband had mussels followed by scampi and chips which he also enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and the service was impeccable. Will definitely be returning.
